Upcoming Parent Nights hosted by the Counselors:

• 9th Grade - Wednesday, September 10 at 6:00 pm. Topics will include general information related to promotion and graduation requirements, GPA, HOPE Scholarship & Grant, and more.

• 11th Grade - Wednesday, September 10 at 7:00 pm. Topics will include graduation requirements, post-secondary options, "What is junior advisement?", HOPE Scholarships & Grant, and more. This presentation provides information to help prepare you for your students upcoming junior advisement appointment.

Junior Advisement: this will run through the end of fall semester. All third-year students will meet with their counselor; parents/guardians are also invited to attend. The enrolling adult will receive communication with their student's appointment date/time. Communications will go out on a rolling basis.

College & Career Fair hosted at KMHS on Saturday, September 13th!

• A few highlights of the fair:

  • Be Pro Be Proud truck will be onsite for hands-on career exploration

  • Spanish translation services available for families

  • Special Education Department will have a table to answer questions and provide resources

  • College Case Study: Understanding Selective College Admissions – a competitive admissions case study for families to learn more about the process

  • Financial Aid Presentation – practical guidance for students and families on paying for college​​​
